Phototherapy (LED) can be used to stimulate the healing of chronic ulcers of the lower limb, as it affects healing cells and neurons. In this way, this study has sought to know if the heat stimulus of the 660-/850-nm contact LED is sufficient to trigger the response in the peripheral sympathetic nervous system of normal volunteers.

The LED was applied on the right foot of forty-two normal volunteers followed by serial infrared images. After the stimulus, a biphasic hyperthermia

curve was observed synchronously in both feet, in the right and left halluxes, while hyperthermia was attributed to the redistribution of postural blood flow in the plantar region, which may indicate independent neurovascular mechanisms. Thus, periodic thermographic analysis can be used in the evolution of the LED treatment.

  • pins and needles in the extremities
  • numbness and tingling
  • weakness in arms and legs
  • a knotted feeling in the soles and palms
  • pain from the lightest touches
  • difficulty walking
  • pain from the pressure of walking
  • balance problems
  • inability to grasp with the hands
  • cramping of the feet
  • fingers twisting and locking
  • pain when twisting the wrists
  • hands and feet feeling tired or heavy
  • night pain and sleep difficulty
  • restless legs and feet
  • pain that seems to come even from the sheets or covers on your feet at night

Neuropathy pain tends to be worse at night. This makes it difficult to get a full night’s sleep which can lead to other health problems and increase in pain.

What is the best treatment for peripheral neuropathy ?

Dr. Alfonso‘s Neuropathy Treatment Protocol is a highly effective treatment that has successfully helped many patients seeking treatment for Peripheral without medications, shots, or surgery.
Red light therapy rehabilitates damaged nerves by using specific wavelengths to:

  • Increasing Circulation
  • Increasing Oxygen
  • Increasing Nutrition
  • Decreasing Inflammation
  • Decreasing Pain

Dr. Alfonso‘s Neuropathy Treatment Protocol combines multiple 7 specialized treatments developed to improve the supply of oxygen, remove waste, increase nutrients to damaged peripheral nerves. By increasing circulation to the damaged peripheral nerves combined with treatments to stimulate peripheral nerve cell regeneration and repair.
